Who are you listening to at the moment?

At the moment I’m listening to the 1975 and Twenty One Pilots a lot, as well as a local band called Orchards. I discovered them here in Brighton, and they’re beginning to grow bigger. I like to mix it up.

What do you love about Brighton?

So far I love everything about Brighton. I’ve never been to any other place where people are so open minded, creative and accepting. It has all the advantages of a city while still being fairly small, which is something I really like. There’s always something to do, whether it’s going to a gig or for a walk. Before I moved to Brighton I knew I’d love it, and I wasn’t wrong.

Why Songwriting?

I chose Songwriting to give me a little bit of a push. I thought being surrounded by such creative people and getting their feedback on what I write would be stimulating, and it is! It’s not competitive, which is something I really value. I also chose songwriting because there’s always a lot of room for improvement, and I want to develop my potential as much as possible.
