It’s time for Who What Why again, we spoke with Caitlin Moss, BIMM Brighton Vocals student about her BIMM experience…
Who are you listening to at the moment?
Right now I’m listening to a lot of Gabrielle Aplin and Bruno Mars. I usually go for Singer-Songwriter/Pop, but I was recently introduced to a band called CHON who are really different from anything I’ve ever heard. They’re more like Math-Rock and I’m loving it. Also a good in between of Pop/Math would be Orchards, their new song Honey has been on repeat in my flat for weeks!
What do you love about Brighton?
I love everything. The people, the music, the shops. It’s such a welcoming and inspiring place to live in, and I honestly don’t think that I could live anywhere else now!
Why Vocals?
I’ve always known that I wanted to be a singer. I started singing in choirs when I was around 9 years old, then I started joining bands and writing my own music in Secondary School. I’ve just always known that I want to earn my living from singing and writing music.
