Who are you listening to at the moment?
At the moment I am listening to a lot of Johnny Cash, Petteri Sariola, Calum Graham, and Genesis.
What do you love about Manchester?
My favourite thing about Manchester is the music. Seeing so many buskers in a city centre is always great and Manchester in particular has a great vibe because of it! There are some really great open mic nights in the Northern Quarter worth checking out too, such as The Whisky Jar and Stage and Radio.
Why Guitar?
I chose my course because I wanted to network with other performers and try and get a band going. I had a lot of fun with band based projects but early in my second year I decided to shift my energy towards percussive acoustic guitar. The course has been really good for one-to-one support, especially the artist development modules. This has allowed me to not only work hard but also work smart.
