Who are you listening to at the moment?

Lately, I’ve just been waiting for Liam Gallagher’s debut solo album and now it’s out I can’t get enough of it! “For What is Worth” is one of the best songs Liam has ever put his vocals on and “Wall of Glass” is a monster of a tune. I can’t wait for Noel’s new album to come out now… clash of the titans! I have also been listening to J Hus’s most recent album; “Spirit” is my anthem at the moment. I have always had a connection with UK Grime music as I work with Grime artist ‘Faceless’ and we will be releasing music together this month.

What do you love about London?

London is a place that I’ve wanted to move to since I was 10. I’ve always been obsessed with this city; coming from a small city in the North West of England, I think it’s only natural for me to want to move to a big city. I think London really is a creative melting pot. There is so much music and history here that it’s hard not to be inspired at times. I love the fact there are so many different cultures in this one city and that’s something I love about living here. I think there is always something to be learned from other cultures.

Why Guitar?

As a kid, guitar was the only thing that really struck a chord with me (pardon the pun).  I always loved singing and after hearing artists like Elton John and Oasis I started to want to write songs – guitar was a good way to start that. However my real passion for guitar playing came from Queen, Guns ‘N’ Roses, and Blues music.

Love Guitar too? Why not join us at BIMM London on one of our Guitar Courses?
