BIMM University has a packed schedule for our Brighton and Manchester freshers this year, offering some great opportunities to introduce yourself to your fellow training professionals and chat all things music, film, theatre, and dance.
As Brighton and Manchester are also home to our other BIMM University faculties Screen and Film School and the BIMM Music Institute you’ll also get to meet and mingle with freshers from our other subject areas too.
Freshers’ Fun in Brighton
We’ve got a full week of exciting events on the south coast, including an ICTheatre exclusive open stage event at Arcobaleno, where you can sign up and perform with your guitar or backing track. There’s also dance classes, yoga, gigs, the Freshers Fair, and more.
One of the main highlights of BIMM Brighton’s Freshers’ Week is our infamous UV night at one of Brighton’s biggest and best nightclubs, Revenge Brighton.
Revenge’s resident DJs will be spinning an eclectic mix of LGBTQ+ pop, pop-rock, dance & sing-along cheesy anthems – PLUS… FREE glowsticks! Free entry for wristband holders and £3 otherwise, so feel free to bring your mates. No need to sign up, but do get down early so you don’t miss out.
Freshers’ Fun in Manchester
From a city-wide bar crawl to laid-back coffee afternoons, a quiz night and open mic sessions, the BIMM Manchester calendar is bursting with excitement during the freshers’ period and offers plenty of face time with your fellow students.
Of all the events on the agenda, however, our favourite is the now-iconic Games Night. Get to know your fellow freshers over classic board games or get competitive playing Nintendo Switch on the big screen. Whatever your game of choice, we’ve got it covered. So, bring your A-game and prepare for an evening of fun, laughter, friendly rivalry – and best of all: PIZZA!
We can’t wait to see you there!
