Who are you listening to at the moment?
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Eminem (Revival). I sing swing music but have a huge respect for rap especially the greats such as Eminem, Tupac, A Tribe Called Quest, Immortal Technique, and Wu-Tang Clan.
What do you love about Brighton?
This is actually easier to answer than I first anticipated mostly due to the fact that I spent over a month away from Brighton in Tokyo and Barcelona recently and I missed Brighton more than I thought possible. My parents don’t have a fixed address as they are travelling the world, and my sister is between Oxford University and Berlin, and my brother lives in Tokyo – so I proudly call Brighton home, although I’ve only been here since September!
Why Event Management?
I studied Drama, Art, and Music Technology at A-level because I decided to take a step back from academia and base my learning and life around doing what makes me happy. I heard about BIMM at a university exhibition and I never knew something like it existed so I made it my only choice on UCAS despite all my teachers telling me to not ‘put all my eggs in one basket’. I chose Event Management because I’ve been going to festivals of various sizes since I could walk and the organisation and planning that goes into them interests me greatly.
As well as Brighton you can study Event Management in Bristol, London, Manchester or Birmingham – find out more HERE.
