Who are you listening to at the moment?

I’m currently listening to Maggie Rogers debut album ‘Heard It In The Past Life.’ She has an incredible voice and the album’s production is incredible. I love the fact that there is an element of calm to her tracks and therefore it makes it easy to listen to when trying to do work.

What do you love about Brighton?

I love the fact that there is always something to do in Brighton. Over the past three years of living here I have never been bored. I really enjoy walks along the seafront in Hove, as you get to see so many dogs. I also love the fact you can have the loud, lively experience of a gig in the evening but also the opportunity to just sit in a café and chill during the day. There are so many nice cafes around.

Why Music Journalism?

The music Journalism course is fantastic. I always really enjoyed writing and always had a passion for music and this course let me combine the two of them. Before this course, I would have never had the confidence to do an interview, but I’ve had so many opportunities on this course and can actually say that my confidence has grown far more than I ever thought it could.
