What do you love about Manchester?
I love how many venues there are and how fun it is. You can’t be bored because there’s always something going on – especially good when you’re an Event Management student as there’s so much to get involved in.
Why Event Management?
After college, I knew I wanted a career in music. I chose Event Management because I love festivals and gigs and wanted to learn more about how they’re run and how I could run my own big events. I’m so happy I did because I now run Zena, promoting women in the music industry by hosting events and running a blog. I also work at Dusty Pop entertainment so I’m at gigs a few times a week which I love!
