Who are you listening to at the moment?
My listening habits rarely change and I usually end up listening to a few albums on loop for weeks. I listen to various versions of showtunes by great composers like Cole Porter and Irving Berlin. I went through a Bossa Nova phase last year, listening to lots of Antonio Carlos Jobim and Joao Gilberto. Currently though, I listen to lots of disco classics, Vulfpeck and Classical music. Really enjoying Johannes Brahms’ 16 Waltzes at the moment, what a beard/guy!
What do you love about Bristol?
Bristol is a strange place. There are perpetual road works and more Gregg’s or Subway’s than you can shake a stick at. However, the fabulous architecture, rich history, and vibrant cultural pockets make it a true gem of West England. There’s a music venue for every genre and a club night for every occasion.
Why Bass?
BIMM was recommended to me by a private bass tutor back home, so I checked it out. The course was the best suited to my needs in order to develop and grow. So I applied and BAM! Here I am 3 years later, no regrets.
