Who are you listening to at the moment?
At the moment I’m currently listening to a playlist I created featuring artists such as Bruno Mars, Sia, Carrie Underwood, and Toto. I love listening to songs with a storytelling aspect to them and also songs that are very upbeat, so the mixture of these artists is perfect!
What do you love about Brighton?
I love how carefree and accepting Brighton is and how there’s always something going on here be it gigs, open mic nights, or comedy clubs. So you’re always spoilt for choice and it gives local musicians many opportunities to perform. I also love how close everything is to each other in Brighton!
Why Songwriting?
I’ve always had a keen interest in writing stories and English language, and from a young age I started to write songs and developed a passion for it. I feel like choosing to do the Songwriting degree was a perfect match for me as it allowed me to do something that incorporated all the things I love, and really grow as a writer.
