Who are you listening to at the moment?
Well, Drake just put out a new song, so I’m listening to that a lot. Like any other music student, this is probably a question that would take me hours to answer, but there have been a few constants in my music taste through the years – Otis Redding, Joni Mitchell, Frank Ocean and Erykah Badu. I love soul, hip-hop and neo soul, so that’s where I always end up.
What do you love about Berlin?
Damn. OK, in a random order: food, parks, music, most of the people, food again, the drag shows, the industry, the freedom – there’s never a day where you have absolutely nothing to do – and the spirit of the city. Someone once told me that Berlin is like New York in the ‘80s and even though there’s no way for me to confirm this, I’ve chosen to believe it blindly.
Why Vocals?
It just sounded so good. Creative Musicianship. Super fancy sounding. Then I actually did some research and found the course to be a perfect fit. But, to be honest, it was 70% the name!
