Who are you listening to at the moment?
I’m currently listening to a lot of Sam Smith, the 1975, and Kodaline. These would all be artists that I’d have been listening to from the start but I go through phases where I would listen to each of them non-stop. I think one of the reasons I’ve followed them all for so long is because I’ve seen all of them live and they were all above and beyond my expectations.
What do you love about Dublin
I love Dublin because it’s so interesting. I’m from a small town where most things stay the same but every time I’m in Dublin city there’s something new to see. It’s also an amazing city for music. There are so many pubs that are hidden gems when it comes to live music and even more that I’m still hearing about.
Why Songwriting
Songwriting was always my main love in life. I started writing songs when I was about eight years old and never looked back. Applying for this course was a big risk for me as it was the only course I wanted and I had no idea what I would do if I didn’t get it. Thankfully I did and I couldn’t be happier I took the risk, it’s the perfect course for me.
