Can’t make it to one of our in person Open Days? We’ve got you covered!

Our virtual events offer an inclusive and accessible way to experience ICTheatre and find out everything you need to know about joining us in 2024.

On Wednesday 1st May we’re hosting a Virtual Open Evening from 5:30pm – 6:30pm where you can learn more about our BA (Hons) Performing Arts course, the two pathways in Acting for the 21st Century and Contemporary Musical Theatre, and what life at ICTheatre will look like for you.

Here are five reasons you’ll be glad you joined us online:

It fits in with your schedule

We get it – life can be busy and you might not always make it to our in-person events, especially if you live a long way from the campus or have other commitments and demands on your time (and bank balance!). There’s no reason to miss out though; our online events are designed to give you the opportunity to meet with students and staff, ask your burning questions, and find out what your life will be like at Brighton or Manchester – all from the comfort of your own device!

You’ll meet your Course Leaders

Our Virtual Open Evening is hosted by our amazing BA (Hons) Performing Arts course leaders. You’ll meet Barney Warrington from our Brighton Campus, and Dr Sally Crawford-Shepherd who heads up the course in Manchester, along with our Heads of School. Whether you’re a future actor, dancer, singer or triple-threat, they’ll tell you about both of our specially designed industry focused pathways:  Acting for the 21st Century and Contemporary Musical Theatre. You’ll get a deeper insight into what you’ll do on the course, what your timetable will look like, and how our industry expert lecturers will help you reach your full potential.

You’ll find out about the extra support available to you

There’s a load of extra support available to you when you join us, from our incredible specialist teams. You’ll hear about our Student Wellbeing teams and how they can assist you with your academic and pastoral needs, including physical and mental wellbeing which is as important to us as it is to you.  We’ll also tell you about our dedicated Creative Futures team who will work with you to equip you with all the tools you need to hit the ground running in your future career, from creating assets like headshots and showreels, to arranging our Agent Panel Days!

You’ll chat to our students

We can tell you what your life will be like at ICTheatre – but why not hear it from the people who live and breathe it every day? Our current students know better than anyone what it’s like to go through an audition, how your first few days and weeks will unfold, and what you’ll enjoy the most about being here. Our fabulous Student Ambassadors are looking forwards to sharing their ICTheatre experience with you!

Get the best answers to your hottest questions

How many hours will I be on campus? What does my timetable look like? What performance opportunities are there? This is your chance put our Course Leaders, Student Ambassadors and Admissions team in the hot seat and ask those burning questions you’ve been dying to know!

We can’t wait to meet you! Book your place now.
