It’s nearly that time of year again, we can’t wait to welcome our new ICTheatre Brighton Training Professionals to their new home in just two days!
Our induction and freshers weeks are the perfect time to get settled before you officially start your degree. You’ll get to meet your lecturers as well as your new fellow TPS. You’ll receive all kinds of goodies including a free professional headshot to get you started.
You’ll also get to take part in an array of activities, workshops and events with a chance to mix with the students from our partner institutes BIMM and Screen and Film School.
To get you excited, here’s a look at some of the activities coming up in your induction and freshers week:
Free professional headshot
Each first year receives a professional headshot session during their induction week to kickstart their professional training.
The Caribbean Kitchen
Will be providing some delicious food for our TPs during freshers week
‘Representation in the arts’ with Jamika Ajalon
Jamika will be hosting an important discussion on representation and appropriation in the arts.
Free physio session
Everyone on our Musical Theatre pathway will receive a physio check-in during induction week.
Motion capture workshop with Lee Payne
TPs will get to experience our new state of the art motion capture suite in a mo-cap workshop.
Drag bingo
Come and play the most entertaining game of bingo you have played in your life, while you get entertained by Brighton’s infamous qrag queens.
K-Pop dance class with Nicolas Piscedda
Everyone on our Musical Theatre pathway will receive a physio check-in during induction week.
Fancy dress quiz night
Come dressed as something or someone with the same letter as your first name, prizes to be won!
Induction event with DJ Afrocat
Our official induction event is always a fun one, this year the amazing Afrocat will be DJing!
Talk with The Tired Movement
The Tired Movement are literally making movements in the dance world, we can’t wait for you to hear all about what they do.
Club and live music nights with BIMM Institute
The evenings are packed out with events, broaden your new friendships and connections by meeting students from our partner colleges BIMM and Screen and Film School.
