Liam is a first year student from Bonn studying Songwriting at BIMM Berlin. He’s a half Canadian/half Italian DJ with a love of house, funk and pop, and his new track ‘Get Comfortable’ came out this May. We caught up with him to find out about his life in music so far.
How did you get started in music?
I was playing drums in my first band, The Stimpys, when I was 11 years old. We placed second at our high school talent show in 2008, performing a cover of ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes.
Why did you choose BIMM Berlin?
Because I wanted to study music at a forward-thinking college, in a city that has seemingly endless sources of inspiration.
What has been your highlight at BIMM?
Having the privilege of learning about music every day.
What advice would you give to future BIMM students?
