Virtual Open Days FAQs

For the foreseeable future, our Open Days have moved online. Although we can’t welcome you into our colleges, you can still discover all you need to know about our industry-led courses, find out about our lecturers, and ask any questions you have about joining us at BIMM Institute.

How do I sign up to BIMM’s Virtual Open Days?

Just like our normal Open Days, you can sign up via our Virtual Open Days page on our website. Choose the city you’re interested in and fill out the form to confirm your space.

How do I join a Virtual Open Day?

Our Virtual Open Days are being run on Zoom. Our friendly Admissions Team will send over the link before the event so you can easily join.

How long does a Virtual Open Day last?

Please allow around 2 to 2.5 hours for the complete open day.

Will I get to speak to current students?

Yes! During a Virtual Open Day, there are current students available to speak to. Our Admissions Team is also on hand to help and answer any questions you might have.

Will I get to see inside the college?

Sadly no. A tour is not part of a Virtual Open Day. However, we have virtual tours of all our colleges on our website’s Facilities pages. Simply choose the city you’re interested in below to take a look inside our colleges:

Can I ask questions?

Absolutely. There is a chat feature where you can ask any questions you have. We really encourage you to ask any questions throughout the Virtual Open Day as it may help other attendees too.

Do I need to be on a laptop to attend or can I do it via my mobile/tablet?

No – the Zoom app is available on mobile devices too, so do whatever suits you best. Just make sure you’re comfy as a Virtual Open Day lasts a couple of hours.
