Having graduated on a Music Business degree course at BIMM London, Emmanuel’s first steps into the industry were through an internship at Capitol records where he worked on Eliza and the Bear’s album campaign and supported the James Bay Tour with Frances.
After this he was referred to Air Edel, for a placement which helped widen his musical knowledge even further.

Since then, Emmanuel has moved-on to Universal Music. His roles include service, training and support in all labels under Universal across forty territories and his day-to-day work involves attending/scheduling meetings for Island, Polydor, Virgin EMI, Decca as well as managing digital releases.

Aside from working at Universal, Emmanuel also manages two artists through his own company/label UNRULY. One of these – Jack Bruley – featured on the latest series of The Voice UK. The other – Mei Mei – is currently working on her debut EP with Sons of Sonix, whose previous collaborators include the likes of Wretch 32 and Stormzy.

Reflecting on his time studying at BIMM, Emmanuel had this to say;

“Life at BIMM was fundamental in supporting my growth and initial network in the music industry. My degree taught me patience, the importance of networking and key business knowledge that has helped me get to where I am today.”
