My Brighton: Zoey Gibbons

16th November 2018

How would you summarise Brighton?

Brighton is a hub of culture and is a place that you can express yourself. Brighton is thriving in things to do and every day you experience something new.

Do you remember the first gig you saw in the city?

The first gig i saw in this city was Black Stone Cherry at the Brighton Dome.

And the best?

The best gig I have been to was While She Sleeps at Concorde 2 for their album release show which i got to interview them about.

If you had someone visiting for 24 hours, where would you take them?

I would take them to all the small hidden gems in Brighton like Twisted Lemon where not many people know of, The pier is something that will always be there if they visit again, unlike the great small businesses that come and go over the years.

What would you say is Brighton’s hidden gem?

Another hidden gem is the Komedia Picture House

The best for…

A quick pint? Mash Tun
A night out? The Haunt
To see new music? Green Door Store
Grab a coffee? Small Batch
Dinner? Cotê
Takeaway? VIP
Venue? Duke of Yorks Picturehouse
Taking a time out? Pavillion Gardens
