What is the first thing you need to do when you get to London?

Download Citymapper to your phone, so you can find the best transport options, and get information about delays and rail work. This app have really helped me to find my way around London, by bus, cabs, Tube and cycle. It saves your preferred trips and now offers a pass that is cheaper than Oyster card.

What parts of the city do you need to see?

Kew Gardens, Fulham Palace are two beautiful botanic gardens, perfekt when you need a break from a busy London life r a quite place to study in the summer. Bethanel Green is amazing for vintage shopping and food, I can highly recommend Mooshies for vegan burgers.
Greenwich market in the weekends are wonderful place to go on the other side of London, its has an old quiet atmosphere, records shops and beautiful surroundings to walk.

Where can you find the best culture?

East London is the place to go for urban culture, its very hip and artsy. Central London for high street and high end, if you dont mind crowded streets its a great place to meet tourist from all over the world.

And find the best live music?

The Black Heart Camden if you into heavy guitar driven music, there is always a good rock or metal show happening. The Jazz Cafe in Camden, offers a broad diversity of jazz instrumentalist, you definitely experience music like never before. Boston music room in Tufnell Park is one of my favourites for alternative music, its small and shows there are often pretty packed which gives a great energy amongst the crowd.

Where do you go shopping?

Westfield Shepherds Bush on weekdays, is a great option if central London is to big of a mouth full, there is high street high end and discount shops, you won’t leave empty handed. Bethenal Green and Notting Hill for vintage clothing and record shops.

What can’t you miss in London?

Kew Gardens when they have their light exhibition in the winter, its beautiful too see how they corporate botanicals and lights.
Harrods in central London at Christmas, they always have one of the best Christmas decorations, perfect for some instagram post.
