Calling all acoustic folk artists and fans! Introducing: The Folklore Sessions – a monthly live folk music event which is the perfect place to indulge yourself with some of the finest acoustic showcases around.

After a continued succession of consistently amazing line-ups, Folklore Sessions has become one of Brighton’s most popular regular live music events and is home to some of the best acoustic acts the UK has to offer.

Attracting artists from all over the country, and curated by local songsmith Jacko Hooper, Folklore has had the pleasure of hosting the likes of Mike Dignam, The Xcerts, Tall Ships, Chanele McGuinness, Jack Conman, Aniseed Treats, Jack Watts, Bity Booker, George Ogilvie, Bess Atwell, Amy Yon, Deirdre Faegre, Paper Hawk, Ellie Ford, Katherine Priddy, Oktoba, Christopher Matthewson, Tiago Saga, Josh Mac and many more including guest appearances from Gabrielle Aplin, Hudson Taylor & Joe Keogh of Amber Run.

The monthly event has garnered a strong regular following, with shining reviews from pundits and fans alike. Don’t take our word for it though. Check out this golden nugget of feedback from

See what all the fuss is about for yourself every third Tuesday of the month at The White Rabbit in Brighton, with the occasional one-off special at other venues round town. And if you’re an artist who’s interested in performing, you can contact Jacko directly on [email protected]
