Want a career in music but don’t know where to begin? We’ve had a chat with past and present students to give you an insight into what inspires them!

Here’s what graduate Dan Fane had to say about his #BIMMexperience

What difference has BIMM made to your career?
‘BIMM has allowed me to network within my local industry and to also work more professionally with my musical career. It was also where I met and formed my band Orchards. BIMM have helped us a lot with amazing opportunity’s such as; working at open days and slots at festivals round the UK.’

What inspires you to write/play music?
‘A chance to play live and record. I love to make music with people I love. That drives me.’

Do you have any advice for new and future students?
‘Realise that it’s not all about playing your instrument, commit to learning new things and keep your mind open.’
