At BIMM Berlin, we’re very lucky to have some wonderful singer-songwriters among our ranks. It’d be impossible to include them all, so we’ve cherry-picked a few we think you’ll enjoy!

Vocals student Novine provides smooth R&B melodies with a funk twist. Her soul-pop tracks will make you want to dust off your dancing shoes – plus you’ll have plenty of opportunities to catch her live this summer. Find her on SoundCloud here.

 Moa McKay

Stockholm native and Songwriting student Moa provides us with soulful vocals and jazz influences. Expect Regina Spektor-esque vibes and tight harmonies from this refreshing artist

Gaby Sforza

Get lost in the folky, delicate harmonies of Songwriting family member Gaby. Featuring gentle guitars and pretty melodies, Gaby has recently re-emerged as a musician in the Berlin scene – we think he’s definitely one to keep an eye on. Hear more on his bandcamp.

Songwriting student Lisa Uebel delights us with her deliciously rich vocal lines, complete with scat singing and free jazz inspiration galore. Mairimasil and her band are currently working on a number of new projects – watch this space. Find her on SoundCloud.

Thomas Andersen

Last but certainly not least, Danish songwriter Thomas Andersen’s tracks are full of busy instrumentation and warm vocals. His latest EP has already received a fair amount of radio airplay, so it looks like you’ll probably see quite a lot of Thomas in the future. Heaps more on Spotify.
