Behind the Track: The Felonies

5th August 2019

Was there anything that inspired you when writing ‘Drunk (3am)’?

The song was written from one of the band members own personal experiences with the topic at hand.

How did you approach the songwriting process?

The music came first and from there we worked the melody around the music. We actually wrote the bridge of the song in the studio!

Do you have a favourite line/section of the track?

The second verse has a real cool vocal line, the guitar solo is also tasty.

Can you describe your sound in three words?

Different to this.

How do you feel your sound has developed since studying at BIMM?

We were a band before we went into BIMM and not all of us study there (2/4) so as a whole we’ve paved our own way forward but BIMM has certainly helped us hone in on our skills as individuals for sure.

Do you have a stand out moment from your time at BIMM?

The End Of Term gigs are always great fun!
