What was the inspiration behind your track?

‘The underdog will receive recognition if he puts in work’. It’s that easy, if you put in everything you have, at some point the respect of others will come. People who did not believe in you and had doubts about your talent will suddenly see what you can achieve.

What did your songwriting process involve?

As soon as I heard the beat, the words flowed. The process was not that remarkable or unprecedented I would say. I went into the booth and started freestyling. That’s how I write my songs most of the time.

Is there are story behind the song?

My Story. It is about the progress I’ve made so far, from when I first started writing songs and performing at 14, all the way until now. I am also talking about my future and my goals as an artist, why I’m doing what I’m doing and what I want and where I want to get to.

Can you describe your sound in three words?

Smooth, Attitude, & Motivational

What’s the best thing about studying at BIMM?

The connections you can make with other musicians. It is crazy how many people you can meet at BIMM, all with different musical backgrounds. And the classes are definitely interesting.
