What was the inspiration behind your track?

I got the inspiration from personal experiences. I can’t really place the influences of the sound, but I wouldn’t be surprised if people heard a touch of The Killers in the chorus.

What did your process involve?

I started working on the track at BIMM actually, when we had a project in Technology class. After my half lousy demo I showed it to my band in Sweden and we started working on it together.

Is there are story behind the track?

It’s a reflection of leaving home and returning with a heavier luggage, and by that I don’t mean the material kind. I’m from a small town in Sweden and for every time I move away somewhere I change and grow as a person. This song is about how you’re expected to always stay the same, but how impossible that is when you’re living your life the way you want to.

Can you describe your sound in three words?

Melancholic, indie and energetic.

What’s the best thing about studying at BIMM?

It’s definitely all of the opportunities you have when studying in London and to get to be a part of a great music community with people that are eager to create.
