What was the inspiration behind your track?
It’s the impact that love, lust and time can have on your good intentions.
What did your songwriting process involve?
With me in my room on Logic Pro. I always start each song with a bassline and work my way up from there. When I’m producing each track I always keep my drum patterns really simple so I can focus on a catchy melody.
What things do you do differently to other bands?
I think every band is different in their own right. I just like to write sexy music that people can relate to in any situation.
Can you describe your sound in three words?
Old school, new school, vibe.
Have you channeled any artist in particular on this track?
To be honest, no. It was just one of those songs that came to me in a couple of minutes.
What’s the best thing about studying at BIMM?
It’s definitely helped shape me as an artist. Learning how to present myself in the professional world, from releasing, doing interviews to live shows.
What’s the best bit of music advice you’ve been given?
To always keep writing and stay true to your sound.
What’s next for you?
My new single, plenty of shows and an EP in the spring.
