What was the inspiration behind your track?

This is the second track off our EP, which we released earlier this year called “YOUth.” The inspiration behind the EP is a love story, it is a journey with high and lows, with a start and an end.

What did your songwriting process involve?

Our writing process is almost the same for every song: I write the melody on the acoustic guitar and add lyrics, then I bring it to the band and we build the rest together. When I write, I always feel like the song needs to come together easily and quickly to be real and personal. If it takes more than a day then its not good enough to me.

Is there are story behind the song?

This track is part of the story. It’s like realising that everything seems to be going in the wrong direction but still trying to “keep your head up” and think positive, reacting & trying to make things good again.

Can you describe your sound in three words?

Indie, folk, rock.
