BIMM London Creative Musicianship graduate Andrea Di Giovanni will be releasing his next single “Got To Blame” on October 20th, with the track going on pre-sale through all good online digital retailers on the 2nd.

To celebrate the release, Andrea will be playing a special launch show at Thousand Island, Islington (ex-Upstairs at the Garage) on October 24th.

We caught up with Andrea ahead of the release to discuss his musings on the track.

“The song talks about being free to express yourself and breaking free from the shame of self judgement. It portraits the journey of self acceptance I’ve made, the ups and the downs and the final realisation. I produced it with Jamie Sellers at his Run Wild Studios in Braintree. For the gig, I teamed up with Charlotte Birtles, from RareView Promotions – We wanted an indie/pop/rock based line up. We discussed options and bands looking into BIMM students and graduates as well. I chose one of the acts, Dom Kent.”

For anyone who’s yet to witness one of Andrea’s live shows, you can expect a dramatic and heartfelt performance together with catchy hooks and of course, strong looks!

Support on the night comes from Regions, Lofthouse Music & Dom Kent. Tickets online available on TicketWeb or £7 OTD. It’s going to be an epic night, don’t miss it!
