How did you get started in music?
I started making music when I was 12 – the day my mother bought an electric guitar for my older brother. Since that day, I’ve never imagined myself without a guitar.
Why did you choose BIMM Berlin?
In 2015 I experienced the BIMM London Summer School with an old friend. I was 18 and didn’t really know what to do in life. I was rather charmed by the school. My parents helped me to make the final decision by pushing me to study guitar at BIMM.
What has been your highlight at BIMM Berlin?
I chose Berlin for a silly reason: the money. Berlin is probably one of the cheapest European capital cities! Living here is surprisingly exciting – there’s always something new to do or see. I really love the people I’ve met at BIMM and in Berlin. We make exciting projects; we dream and work hard together, sharing everything. All of these experiences allow me to know who I am more each day and I think this might be the key to something.
What advice would you give to future BIMM students?
There aren’t many pieces of advice I could give, besides to just be yourself, enjoy the moment and work hard.
