Who are you listening to at the moment?
Right now, I’m a tad obsessed with the Dresden Dolls. I love Amanda Palmer’s theatrical yet blunt approach to songwriting.
What do you love about Dublin?
I’ve lived here all my life. My favourite part of the city is how the city skylines and the mountains sit on the horizons together. It feels like no matter how built up an area you’re in, you’re never too far from nature.
Why Songwriting?
I’m actually a classically trained vocalist, and was originally going to study vocals. After going to the open day, I realised that there was so much to learn about the art of songwriting. It’s really intriguing to me, how some well placed sounds and tones can alter your mood or perspective entirely.
Now, I can’t imagine studying anything else.
