You think radio is out? Well then, you obviously haven’t heard the Ray Cokes Show on FluxFM, says BIMM Berlin second year Music Business student, Joel Shani. Here he tells us about a new radio show he’s discovered which he thinks is really awesome.
Tune in to the Ray Cokes Show on FluxFM and you’ll be in for a surprise. You’ll hear super good new music from 1996. That’s right NEW MUSIC! The show is set in the 1990s and pulls off the illusion all the way. Not only do they play retro music, they also have music news from 1996 announcing Grammy Award winners and rumours, such as a possible break-up of Faith No More. ALL IN ENGLISH!
And as if that wasn’t enough, the actual news is (believe it or not) ACTUAL news from the 1990s. A true audio time machine. If you really get into it, you genuinely feel as if you are back in 1996.
The hilariously entertaining host Ray is going nuts over “this revolutionary interweb thingy” and accepts request which you can send him via the super future email communication service.
If you love ‘90s music and want to feel nostalgic, tune in. Trust me: this is good.
It’s on Saturdays at 10am and is repeated again on Mondays at 6pm and Wednesdays at midnight.
Tune in to 100.6 FluxFM
