BIMM HAMBURG: MEET THE STUDENTS

3rd May 2018

We couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming launch of BIMM Hamburg in October, so we’re getting into the spirit of things by learning all about those students who we know will be joining us. Like all BIMM bodies, they’re an interesting bunch, so we thought we’d let them introduce themselves to you as, you never know – you could be making amazing music with them one day!

INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Hey! My name is Natalie Cedergren. I’m 22 years old and from Sweden; specifically from a small city called Kalmar. I’d say I’m a happy, creative and helpful person, and I love chill evenings with friends, music (obviously), deep conversations about life (including wine) and gaming.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO MUSIC?

I think it’s just always been there, and has always been a huge part of my life. No matter how I was feeling, music helped to soothe me, cheer me up, or make me even more happy. When I was 15, I decided that working in the music industry was what I wanted to do with my life, and I held onto that goal. It took a bit of courage to apply for a university outside of Sweden, but I did it and I’m so excited to start.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO ABOUT STUDYING AT BIMM HAMBURG?

Everything. I can’t wait to study again; to make new friends, new memories, new everything. It’s like another part of my life is about to begin.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE MUSIC BUSINESS COURSE?

I’ve always found that part of the music industry interesting. I love how everything is set up, and the massive amount of work that gets poured into, for example, a festival, is amazing. I want to be behind the musicians, making sure everything works out for them!
