What was the inspiration/is there a story behind your track?

It’s about someone manipulating you and making you feel small, then you start to realise it wasn’t ever worth knowing them. But you only realise when you reflect on it years later for the first time how bad it was and then you pray you never have to look back and feel that small again.

How did you write this song?

The way we wrote this song was T & Gavin coming up with the main phrases for the verse and chorus and then Nicole & Alex structured the song and added cool harmonies and vocal lines. We then rehearsed it and changed little bits around. By the end of it we came up with something really cool and interesting that we all fell in love with.

Do you have a favourite line/section of the song?

Yes, the end of the song when it builds up to it’s loudest part, it gets nice and loud and then drops right back down.

Can you describe your sound in three words?

Dark, fat and loud.

How do you feel your sound has developed from studying at BIMM?

I’d say studying in BIMM developed our sound because it introduced us all to so many different genres, it really opened up our minds creatively and that stamp is definitely on our music.

What’s the best thing about studying at BIMM?

Learning new techniques and studying how the industry operates. We all feel that it gave us a push in the right direction both in our musical ability and in our understanding on how the industry works.
