What was the inspiration/Is there a story behind the track?

This song was actually a bit of a joke, in terms of the lyrics anyway. The main guitar riff was something Dan had been playing for ages and eventually it all just came together.

How did you write this song?

The boys just stared jamming it out in rehearsal one day and eventually I came up with some lyrics. Most of our songs just come from intense jam sessions and I remember we were really vibing off of this one.

Do you have a favourite line/section of the song?

I think my favourite part of the song is definitely the main guitar riff, but Josh does do a mad drum solo in this track when we play it live, which always goes down well.

Can you describe your sound in three words?

I think you’d describe our sound as…Psychedelic Indie Fuzz.

How do you feel your sound has developed since studying at BIMM?

Our sound is definitely a lot heavier now and we are so much tighter as a group through tedious practise. We experiment more with pedals and effects too to make our sound as fat and authentic as we can.

What’s the best thing about studying at BIMM?

Without BIMM the band wouldn’t even exist. BIMM also allowed us to connect with our manager Meg who is doing loads of work for BADLAWS. behind the scenes. For us, it’s all been about networking, and BIMM has allowed us to meet some amazingly talented people. Because we all study different disciplines, BIMM has allowed us to share knowledge with each other from all of our classes.
